I loved this book! He didn't live to see it published. Very Pokemon-inspired, and not very well written. I was unable to read a single word in this story that wasn't Capitalized and Irish-ed.

Some of the early stories were clunkers, but I thought some of the ones at the end were really good. Please show your support today. Hit or miss I really liked about half the stories, but the other half just didn't grab my attention.

Like all anthologies this has something for everyone. Nov 22, Doug Lewars rated it it was amazing Shelves: fantasy. He won dosois Hugo and Nebula awards, both as an editor and a writer of short fiction. Like all anthologies this has something for everyone.

While this was Dozois' last published anthology, it surely isn't going to be the last I read. Yet though their abilities may be godlike, these men and women remain human - some might say all too human. These are all excellent stories by masters of the trade. Didn't understand mgaic style, the setting.
