  1. Nietzschf has a good feel for the German and Clark is very sensitive to what is philosophically important in the German and not losing that in translation. I'm surprised no one mentioned "Untimely Meditations". It certainly took me a while to come to terms with the fact that this is really what Nietzsche believes, that the illiberal attitudes and the elitism was really central to the way he looked at things.
