And the statement probably sums up the feelings of the legions of fans of Mr. Finney's novel, "Time and Again. The company has ordered a first printing of 90, copies.

This one would make a fantastic movie or TV mini-series? I liked the idea of going back in time with all your futuristic equipment and the problems that could cause, but I think that angle could have been dealt with more thoroughly. Ariana Franklin. Initially I left the store without a copy, but several days tine I found myself drawn back to the book store through a strange need to read this timey wimey thing.

So I rate this 2. Unfortunately it's largely devoid of both. So why is the guy on the cover pictured as a brunette. The Original ideas but pulp fiction in terms of writing.

Who would you kill! There are some moments in this one, you sucked me right in and there were no time travel logic misses like Back to the Future, although not too hard I hope - abain my mind is a wee bit fragile now. Also he can change very quickly there I was going along nicely when wham. It is a book that blew my mind and one that will leave me thinking for a long while.

Loved this book? You can see the philosophical debates this would tije if it was part of a book club read because it has left my mind thinking and analysing. Like Like Reply. The fear was there that it would become one, but it never eventuates.

An adult case of insta-love, as they call it in YA fiction. In a not too distant future from now, the plot at the end of the book with all its different versions of history got a bit convoluted. It can be bloody dangerous and problematic too. On the other hand, Hugh Stanton is an ex-soldier and a washed up celebrity who has lost everything.

A war that will begin with a single bullet.


I had trouble getting into it from the beginning. I know squat about JFK or his presidential years. Paperbackpages. Like shooting fish in a barrel really.

His wife tim children are dead, killed in a hit-and-run accident in which they never found the culprits. She thinks he's amazing for "inventing" such terms as "civil disobedience" and "sexual equality" which she madly writes down for later use and he shags her without the slightest sense of irony. If you could travel back in time and change just one thing what would it be.
